If you don’t need a domain name, I really love Tripod (tripod.com). It is really easy to use and I use it for my school newspaper and presentations with it. It also has a lot of functions, even the free version. Check it out. The problem is that with a domain name, it gets really pricey. Get something different then.

The best know and most complete website builder is Adobe’s Dreamweaver combined with Adobe’s Photoshop.

These two products allow you to create virtually anything web related. Whether it be hand coded or made by design, Dreamweaver does it.

A free solution to this is Alleycode. It can be found and downloaded here:

As for the publisher, I recommend as your host and domain name provider not only because of their excellent price to features ration, but because of their superb customer/technical support. To start off, the ‘1&1 Home’ hosting package should be plenty. You should have at least $35 to invest to cover the expenses of hosting for around 4-6 months.

With 1&1, your website can be created and uploaded with their Easy Site Creator, uploaded through their Webspace Explorer, or uploaded with an FTP account and program.

I hope this clears any confusion you may have had!
