		<description>Sometimes you can tell by the URL but that is not reliable.  Static websites are made with programs like Dreamweaver or text editors and uploaded to the server.  If there is no functionality aside from a menu then it is probably made that way.  

An interactive site could be made with Java (not really Javascript), PHP, IIS/.Net/ASP, Perl/Python, etc. but there is no hard rule about the URL to help you determine what program it is coded in.</description>
