How to get a website template on an online website builder?

Author: admin  |  Category: Programming & Design

I’ve downloaded a web template but it is in a lot of different images. Is there any way I can get the whole thing to go on the online builder? By the way, it came with a firefox document that has the whole thing together.

  1. Ron Says:

You have to use the online Uploader Utility. Some of them allow you to upload only one file at a time, some maybe 3 at a time. Very tedious because free site do not allow FTP in most cases.

If the template came with folder, you MUST make the same name folder online using the File Manger section. They probably have an Icon or link that says “Add Folder”. Once you have made all the folders needed for the template files, upload the files into the exact same folder as you have them on your hard drive. If the online site has any files of the same name, like index.html, just overwrite the old one unless you want to backup what is there.

All editing will be done by the online editor thereafter although you can edit files locally, check them for correct operation and upload them maintaining the same relationship as you had them on your HD.
